This past year was full of things and promoted great Change.
I released a lot of fears. I let go of negative friendships.
And we both rid ourselves of our vices.
We were definitely tested, but we came out on the other side.
We don't smoke or drink anymore. A huge accomplishment I'd say!
We are a new normal. A healthy happy normal.

Matt lost almost 45 lbs and I lost 25--crazy because we never thought we were fat. But we will take it! It's just nice to feel and look better!
We can also say we traveled a lot this past year. Nothing new for us.
We always seem to be on the move.
This past year, we explored Texas and of course visited Port A.
We celebrated in Vegas and even camped at my family's River Place!

Costa Rica was added to our list of favorite travel places. Thanks to Dori and Dad for sharing their new love for the country, and inviting us along to share in their journey of the Pura Vida. We can't wait to travel back one day!

Matt graduated Summa cum laude (top 2%) from St. Mary's Law School.
He studied hard all summer and we were happy to say he passed the dreaded Bar with flying colors.
He made such a great score that he is now able to practice law in North Dakota and Washington D.C.
And in search of a more fulfilling law career, he quit his job at BR Allen.
He went in search of bigger and better. And with the help and recommendation of one of his law professors, Matt or shall I say, Robert Park, was successfully hired on at Uhl, Fitzsimons, and Jewett, PLLC.
He couldn't of fell into a better Law Family. He is only the 6th lawyer to join the small firm off Broadway. He loves his area of practice, location, and his colleagues. What more could one ask for!!
Check him out. He will soon be added on to the website. They just moved offices this week where he managed to get out of the broom closet and into a corner window office.

So with this new employment came the packing up of all our SHIT... and well, we moved!
We left the Helotes area of SA which was home to us for 4 years and all through law school.
I left my job at TJMaxx, and my work friends, and we said, "Hello! to Alamo Heights, San Antonio, TX!"

We couldn't be happier in our new hood. We found a mid century, one story home to rent for a year or two. After which we hope to buy a home in the area. We loathe to move so thank God that everything has just fell into place. We hope to stay in the area for a long long time...
We love how everyone is very active around here, whether it be biking, hiking or walking the neighborhood. Very small hometown feel in the big city :)

Above is a look at Brackenridge Park where we walk/run and ride bikes when the weather is nice!
We also have a new church --St. Mark's downtown-- which we have attended a few times. We love it and it's downtown location. The building is Beautiful being established in 1858! We love the history it holds. We can't wait to start attending on a regular basis and being apart of a church family.
I am also very happy to say, we were blessed this year, as our family expanded. We welcomed two additional members this year. 7 months ago Remington Earl Wyatt was born! and more recently on Dec 28th Andyn Jo Park was born!
All I know is life is good. God is good. And that---
“God Can Dream a Bigger Dream for you... far Beyond anything You could ever Imagine”
With a lot of hard work and a lot of hope, prayers, family support, and positive energy seeping out we can finally say we did it!
